I purchased this bike rack for occasional afternoon rides. It was all i expected and more. It is sturdily built and easy to install. (suggest having 2 people for installation). The rack comes on and off very easy and and is tight with the car on bumps and curves. Wobbles little or none with tie straps. I would definitely recommend this. Not only does it look good but it performs well. I can now drive with it on my car without even glancing back.

Solid construction - about 30lbs out of the box. Tough gray outer coating on the tubes. Thick sidewalls on the tubes and hitch insert. Hollywood does good to have a hitch pin lock and top bar lock included with the rack. Anti-wobble feature and small anti-sway bar work well. Carried two Konas easily. I liked the quality of this product - as good or better than racks from the other two common name manufacturers I looked at.



Hollywood Racks customer service is great. I had to have one small accessory part replaced that was damaged in shipping. They had the new part to me by the end of the week. Good communication and no hassle. Nice people to deal with.

This rack is truly as described. It holds the bikes securely - you do not even need to use the straps, and it does not wobble at all. The fact that the bikes and the rack are lockable is great as you do not have to worry about leaving them on the car. You can also lower and raise the rack with the bikes on it, which is very convenient. We just put the rack through a 4,000 mile road trip and were very happy with it!

This rack lives up to its' claims. The rack mounts extremely easily and securely. Haven't yet taken the bikes on a long trip, but the 10 miles at highway speed I have taken them, the bike were secure and silent. The mount lock is far superior to any cable lock and the included hitch pin lock was a nice addition. I am very pleased with this product.

After a long time of searching, I finally found a bike rack that I am happy with. I tried Thule and some cheaper brands and always found myself looking in the rear view mirror to see if I had caused a 10 car pile up. With the Hollywood rack, there's no movement whatsoever with the bikes. I drove 10 hours to get to a campsite and they were in the exact same position as they were in my driveway. I highly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed that you spent a little extra!!
