So I was looking for a bike rack system for my truck that I did not have to take the front wheel off and there is not much out there. But I saw this uni-grip system by top line and checked it out. Was a little leary but I read the directions online before I purchased and saw how it worked. So I decided to give it a try, it is inexpensive and was what I was looking for, a bike rack that did not take much space. I just got it recently and installed it in next to no time, no cutting or drilling needed.
This thing works great! Easy to use and very secure. The weakest link seems to be my bed rail flexing a little bit but that was it! Biggest problem... the frame on my bike has over sized tubes... they just barely fit. If yours do not fit, try gripping the seat post, works great and with no problem! The only time you need to cut or drill with this system is if you have a bedliner that covers under the rail of your bed. I give this product 5 stars!

according to the description of item, no drilling was to be involved and rack will fit all vehicles. When i received the rack, and opened the box, the instructions require you to drill a hole in your bedliner to mount rack. I attempted to return the item and was told there would be a 20 percent restock fee even tough under their return policy this mfg. is not listed as being subject to return stocking charge. The item itself is flimsyand will not fit all bikes, and since you cant tell about installation or fit, product isnt returnable when opened. Stay away from this seller and this product. The clamp mechanism, even if workable, is almost impossible to use by 1 person as bikes have to be held straight, clasmped and tightened, a 3 hand process. Keep shopping, im sure better bike racks are available, i'm continuing my search even though im much poorer and wiser for my efforts.
