The Hitch-Mounted Bike Carrier conveniently carries 2 bicycles. This bike rack is loaded with features such as a swing down system that allows you to get into your SUV or hatchback vehicle, a pinch pull hitch pin to ensure a wobble-free fitment, and a new design for fitting into different class hitches. Safety in mind, this bike carrier has 1" steel tubing and plastic ends pieces with small red reflectors. Four rubber frame holders have layered fins and long velcro straps to ensure your bike is secure to the carrier. The hitch bike rack swings down with a flick of a metal clip. Once, swung down it is easier to get in the back of hatchbacks, SUVs, or pick-ups and can be done in seconds. The specially designed hitch device allows you to put this bike carrier on I, II, III, & IV class hitches. Just remove the plastic piece and your carrier will slide into a class 2 receiver.

I have used this hitch to drive across the country but you have to tie it down really well it keep the bike from flopping around. I don't trust the tie-downs that are on the product. Very flimsy. But, it's cheap and does get the job done.

If you do not want to put a lot of money into a bike rack then this is a good choice. It was well built though the frame work is thinner then the expensive ones. The fold down feature is great and easy to use. It has some side to side movement that can not be corrected by tightening the bolts. It is easy to load and straps are secure but no additional stability straps are included. Bungee cords work but you need to use padding in order not to scratach the bike. The rack did not come with assembly or installation instructions. The very odd shaped cotter pin is very difficult to put in and remove but it did not come with instructions so perhapas there is an easier way I am not aware of. If you only haul you bike occasionally for short trips this rack is a good cost saving choice.
